Arnett named KCAC “Player of the Week”

McPherson College 's Mitch Arnett was named the KCAC basketball “Player of the Week” for his play during the week of January 1-5, 2008.

Arnett, senior forward from Medicine Lodge, Kan., was a perfect 8 for 8 (100%) from the field and converted 3 of 4 free throws as he scored 19 points in leading the Bulldogs' to a 68-59 win over York College (Neb.) on January 4 th .

Mitch was also credited with five rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the Bulldogs' first competitive action in almost a month.

The win moved the overall season record for the McPherson College men to 7-4.

Arnett is a 2004 graduate of Medicine Lodge High School. He transferred to McPherson for the 2006-2007 season from Pratt Community College .
