MC women defeated

McPherson College's women found present after present in their Christmas stocking until this week.
After a promising 7-1 start, the Bulldogs on Saturday lost for the second time in three days and finished the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule 7-3, 2-2 in the KCAC.
Friends picked up its first conference win of the year Saturday night at the Sport Center, outlasting the cold-shooting Bulldogs, 70-60.
The Bulldogs were 18 of 66 from the field. Brenna Schierling led a balanced attack with 12 points. Erica Alvarez had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Christa Blose also had 11 points for Mac. Kristen Welk led Friends with 23.
Mac is off until the Sterling Classic Jan. 2.
