Mac cagers sweep Spires

MAC WOMEN 87, SAINT MARY 73 -- The Bulldogs played their best half of the year, shooting 20 of 32 on their way to 59 points. Saint Mary had led 34-28 at the half.

Christa Blose came off the bench to score 20 points, while Erica Alvarez had 17, along with 9 rebounds. Andi Wilder scored 11 and Ashley Kline added 10.

Mac is now 4-7 in the KCAC, breaking a tie it had with Saint Mary, which received 20 points from Amy Balk. The Bulldogs are now 10-9 overall and play Saturday at Sterling.
