Mac kickers at home tonight

McPherson College's soccer teams are hosting Concordia College tonight at McPherson Stadium, the women starting at 6:00 and the men at 8.
Mac coach Doug Quint said his men, despite a 1-5 record, have been matching up talentwise. In Tuesday's 4-3 a loss against Southwestern, Austin Bray scored two goals, while Ryan Souter had the other, along with an assist. Other assists were by Chris Sweatman and Brett Livaudais.
"We're beating ourselves," an exasperated Quint said. "We outshot Southwestern 18-4 and we even made a goal for them. There's no excuse for the mental mistakes we're making."
The Mac women are trying for their first win.
"We had some breakaways against Southwestern," Quint said. "We've just got to find a way to finish."
