Signings
The following is a list of all signings for the 2005 season
starting with the most recent signing.
Richey
signs Lady Bulldog soccer
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Terrin Richey of Borger, Tex., to a soccer
letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.

The 5'6” Richey played
the past two years at Dodge City Community College following her
2003 graduation from Borger High School.
A second team all-district
choice as a senior, Richey was also named to the all-academic all-district
team following her final prep season for coach Linda Washer. As
a junior, she was named to the honorable mention all-district squad.
As a senior, Richey received
Borger High's “Top Dawg” award.
“I'm very pleased to have
Terrin joining us next year,” said Doug Quint, McPherson College
head soccer coach. “It's great to add yet another junior college
transfer who comes from a very successful Dodge City program.”
“The leadership and experience
Terrin brings will be vital for us next season.”
“I look for Terrin to play
an important role for us next fall, either on defense or at mid-field.”
Terrin is the daughter
of Jim and Teresa Richey of Borger, Texas. Her father was coach
of two U-16 Texas state championship teams.
Richery plans to major in
elementary education at McPherson College.

Rinke
signs Lady Bulldog soccer
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Denise Rinke of Wichita, Kan., and Allen County
Community College to a soccer letter of intent for the 2005-2006
school year.

Denise

letter of intent signing with McPherson College.
The 5'2” Rinke graduated
from Haysville Campus High School in 2003, where she was named All-Ark
Valley League and All-Region.
She played the last two years
at Allen CCC, earning All-Region VI and All-Jayhawk East honors
for coach Courey Feerer.
“Denise had an outstanding
prep and junior career,” said Doug Quint, McPherson College head
soccer coach. “She the playmaking, center midfielder that we have
needed and been searching for. Her immediate contribution will be
not go unnoticed.”
“Denise is extremely technical
on the ball and a very quick, hardworking young lady. Here ability
on the field, along with her leadership and dedication will play
a pivotal role for us over the next two years.”
Being a graduate of Allen
County Community College , I have tried to create a recruiting pipeline
from there for two years. Now, that my good friend, and former Manhattan
High head coach, Doug Desmarteau is the new head coach at Allen
County , I believe Denise's signing may be the start of that pipeline.
Doug played an important role in her signing and I'm grateful to
him.”
“I am really looking forward
to Denise being a Bulldog.”
Denise is the daughter of
Peggy Rinke of Wichita, Kan. Denise's brother Dan, played soccer
for Newman University in Wichita.

Ramirez
joins Lady Bulldog soccer
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Vanessa Ramirez of San Antonio, Tex., to a
soccer letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.
The
5'4” Ramirez was a defender for Tom Clark High School in San Antonio.
“I am very pleased to add
Nessa to our family here at McPherson College ,” said Doug Quint,
McPherson College head soccer coach. “She is a ‘first class' young
lady and will be a great addition to our community.”
“One of our recruitment goals
this year was to increase our team speed. Nessa is a quick, hard-nosed
player who will contribute immediately to our program. I see her
stepping into our mid-field or back line right away.”
Vanessa in the daughter of
Michelle and Greg Ramirez of San Antonio , Tex.
Ramirez plans to major in
psychology at McPherson College .

Amey signs to join
McPherson soccer
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Nicole Amey of Independence, Mo., to a soccer
letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.
The
5'1” Amey will graduate in May of 2005 from Fort Osage High School
in Independence where she has played four seasons for coaches John
Straub and Rydell Hinckley.
A defender for Fort Osage
, Nicole did score one goal during her prep career.
“I am very pleased that Nicole
has decided to attend McPherson College next year” said Doug Quint,
McPherson College head soccer coach. “She is a solid student-athlete
that will really fit in well here.”
“Nicole has the ability and
experience to play either midfield or defense for us next year.”
“I really am looking forward
to working with Nicole over the next four years.”
The daughter of Jeffrey and
Anna Amey of Independence , Mo. , Nicole plans to major in art at
McPherson College .
Nicole's sister Brianna
will complete her collegiate soccer eligibility this year at Avila
University in Kansas City, Mo. Her uncle played football at Benedictine
College.

Buhl signs with McPherson
strikers
McPherson College has announced the recent signing of Tiffanie Monique Buhl of Temple, Tex., to a soccer letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.
Buhl will graduate in May of 2005 from Temple High School where she was named to the All-District first team as a junior following her second team All-District selection as a sophomore while playing for coach Kevin Korompai.
As a junior, Monique scored 15 goals and had 13 assists for Temple High as it was co-District champions and Bi-District finalists.
“We are extremely please that Monique has decided to join our program at McPherson College,” said Doug Quint, McPherson College head soccer coach. “One of our recruiting goals this year is to bring in some very quick offensive players to go along with our outstanding defense that we return.”
“Monique is that player. She is going to provide us with a very dangerous scoring threat up top and I look forward to having her at McPherson College.”
“Here is a young lady who is extremely quick, and has the skills to finish the ball. She is very deceptive and can create goal scoring opportunities on her own. Monique comes from a very successful high school and club program in Texas, and knows what it takes to win.”
“Monique is an outstanding student, person, and one heck of a soccer player. She will be a great addition to our program and to our campus community.”
The daughter of Massey and Denise Buhl of Temple, Tex., Monique plans to major in pre-physical therapy at McPherson College.
Monique comes from an
athletic family. Her uncle, Alfred Knox, was a football All-American
at Tarleton State , and cousins Ernest and Greg Knox, played football
at the University of Houston and later for the Houston Oilers, and
at Texas State and Northeast Oklahoma , respectively.
