Through this website, you can gain access to valuable information regarding the Department of Athletic Training, as well as obtaining mandatory documents that are required for participation. Our new and improved documentation procedures will ease your transition into the new academic year. We are pleased to have your student-athlete as a member of the McPherson College Bulldog athletic family. We hope that your student-athlete will find great success and enjoyment in his/her collegiate academic and athletic pursuits.
The Athletic Department of McPherson College strives to provide the best possible conditions for competition, both on and off the field. The athletic training room is staffed with two full-time certified athletic trainers who are qualified in many areas involving the overall medical care for your student-athlete. We have an excellent relationship with local physicians and other specified medical providers, who provide the best possible care for our student-athletes. The athletic department reserves the right to utilize these physicians when medical care is needed beyond the capabilities of the athletic training staff.
Pinnacle Sports Medicine in Hutchinson, Kansas, serves as our primary lead team physician network, and we are honored to have a relationship with them to oversee the medical care of our student-athletes. Every effort is made by our team physicians to provide exceptional medical care by attending home football games and visiting the athletic training room on a regular basis to further evaluate any injured student-athlete we refer to them.
