| 2005 Signings
The following is a list of signings for the 2005 season
starting with the most recent signing.
Elliott
signs with Bulldog spikers
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Jaime Elliott of Kremmling, Colo., and West
Grand High School, to a volleyball letter of intent for the 2005-2006
school year.

Joining
Jaime Elliott for her letter of intent signing were (front, left)

current head coach at Kremmling HS, Jackie Pesch, former head coach
at Kremmling HS, and Jaime's parents, Barb and Jeff Elliott.
The 5'7” Elliott received
all-conference honors her senior season after being named to the
all-conference honorable mention squad as a junior.
Elliott's 99% serving average
and 12 assists per game led Kremmling-West Grand High. She averaged
seven kills per game and finished the season with 110 digs.
An all-around athlete, Jaime
twice qualified for the Colorado state track championships plus
she led Kremmling's basketball team in steals and had the highest
free throw percentage.
“We are very excited about
Jaime playing for us next year,” said Nathalea Stephenson, McPherson
College head volleyball coach. “She will bring setting and hitting
experience to our team.”
“Jaime is a very hard working
young lady that is very coachable. I believe she will be a strong
asset to our team. Not only is she a very good volleyball player,
she is also a very good student as shown by her receiving one of
McPherson College 's Presidential scholarships. She carries that
same work ethic from the classroom to the court.”
“At this point, we are looking
at Jaime primarily in the hitting role, but being a right side hitter
also allows her to set the ball as well.”
Jaime is the daughter of
Jeff and Barb Elliott of Kremmling, Colo. Jaime plans to major in
chemistry/pre-pharmacy at McPherson College.

Morgan
signs with Lady Bulldog spikers
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Amanda Morgan of Ogallala, Neb., to a volleyball
letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.

Joining
Mandy Morgan for her letter of intent signing with McPherson College
were her parents Kate and Steve Morgan.
The 5'11” Morgan was a
three-year letter winner at Ogallala High School where she set school
records for digs in a match with 26 and in a season with 300.
Mandy was selected to play
in the Nebraska East-West All-Star Game and the Nebraska Coaches
Association Red-White All-Star Game following her senior season
when she received Southwest Conference and Keith County All-Area
first team honors.
Following her 2003 graduation
from Ogallala HS, Morgan played one season at Peru State and one
at Chadron State College.
“Mandy will bring experience
to the outside hitter position which was an area we were needing
to fill with the graduation of Andrea (Gonzales),” said Nathalea
Stephenson, McPherson College head volleyball coach.
“She can see the court very
well and put the ball where there isn't a defensive player. Mandy
knows when she should hit the ball or if she should tip. This comes
from having collegiate experience.”
“Not only is she a solid
athlete, Mandy is also a very creative writer. We are very glad
she will be a part of our team next fall.”
Amanda is the daughter of
Steve and Kate Morgan of Ogallala , Neb. She plans to major in English.
Steve has led the Ogallala
High volleyball program to three Nebraska state titles, four runner-up
finishes, and an overall record of 603-98.

Doyle
joins Lady Bulldog spikers
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Olivia Doyle of Cawker City, Kan., and, Tipton
High School to a volleyball letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school
year.

Olivia
Doyle is joined for her McPherson College letter of intent signing
by her parents Brian and Alice Doyle.
The 5'11” Doyle was named
to the Topeka Capital honorable mention Class 1A basketball team,
and was named to the All-Twin Lakes first team in both volleyball
and basketball her final three seasons.
As a junior, Doyle was credited
with 103 kills and 47 blocks.
“Olivia is a middle hitter
that we are looking for big things out of as next season progresses,”
said Nathalea Stephenson, McPherson College head volleyball coach.
“She help get her team to the state tournament.”
“Olivia is a player that
will work hard at improving her skills and becoming the best middle
hitter that she can. Different schools run different plays and systems,
and I believe that Olivia will develop as a player and learn our
system quickly.”
The daughter of Brian and
Alice Doyle of Cawker City, Kan.

Graeve
joins Lady Bulldog spikers
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Amanda Graeve of Westminster, Colo., to a
volleyball letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.

Joining
Amanda Graeve for her letter of intent signing were her parents
Kim and Doug Graeve along with her brother Josh.
The 5'6” Graeve ranked 10
th in digs in Colorado 's Class 5A her senior season at Legacy High
School in Bloomfield , Colo. Amanda was named to the all-conference
academic team her final season for coach Chris Warner
“Amanda is a very solid outside
hitter that will bring several years of volleyball experience to
our program,” said Nathalea Stephenson, McPherson College head volleyball
coach. “She has played club ball and is a strong competitor. She
has the ability to get on top of the ball and can hit the open spots
on the court.”
“We look forward to having
Amanda play for us. She brings enthusiasm and desire to continue
to improve as a player.”
Graeve was listed on the
Principal's Honor Roll at Legacy HS.
Amanda is the daughter of
Douglas and Kim Graeve of Westminster , Colo. Amanda plans to major
in physical education/exercise science at McPherson College .

Middlemist
to join Lady Bulldog spikers
McPherson College has announced
the recent signing of Kimberly Middlemist of Holton, Kan., to a
volleyball letter of intent for the 2005-2006 school year.

he 5'6” Middlemist was
part of Holton's Class 4A fourth place state tournament team, which
was defeated in the state semi-finals by the eventual 4A champions.
“Kim is the type of player
that will give you everything she has and will work hard to get
the ball in the hitters hands,” said Nathalea Stephenson, McPherson
College head volleyball coach. “She has a great work ethic and knows
what it takes to win coming from a program that has a strong tradition.
“We are very excited to have
Kim become a Bulldog next year.”
As a senior, Middlemist was
named to the Class 4A All-State Tournament team and the Class 4A
All-State second team as well as the All-Jackson County team. Middlemist
was named to the All-Big 7 League team as both a junior and senior.
Middlemist was ranked fifth
among all classes in assists as a senior, with a Holton High school
record 850. She was also credited with a 93% serving percentage
in her final prep season.
A three year participant
in basketball and track, Kim was named to the All-Jackson County
honorable mention basketball squad after her junior season. She
will be participating in a fourth year of track this spring.
The daughter of Mark and
Jan Middlemist of Holton, Kan., Kim plans to major in business/accounting
at McPherson College .
Kim comes from a line of
collegiate athletes. Her father played football at St. Mary of the
Plains, and both her grandfather and great-grandfather played football
at the University of Colorado . Her great-grandfather, Pete Middlemist,
was an All-American at Colorado and was named to the Buffaloes “All-Century”
team.

Ness
City 's Nichepor inks
with spikers
McPherson
College has announced the recent signing of Tiffany Nichepor of
Ness City , Kan. , to a volleyball letter of intent for the 2005-2006
school year.

The
5'5” Nichepor will graduate this spring from Ness City High School
, where she has played volleyball for Merris Schaub.
Tiffany
named to the All-Central Prairie League second team and participated
in the Central Kansas All-Star volleyball game.
“We
are very excited to have signed Tiffany,” said Nathalea Stephenson,
McPherson College head volleyball coach. “She is a very hard working
setter that knows what it takes to win.”
“Her
high school team qualified for state her junior year, and even though
they didn't her senior year, Tiffany still worked hard to help her
team.”
“We
are expecting great things from her and are excited to watch her
develop her setting skills.”
The
daughter of Alex and Stephanie Nichepor of Ness City , Kan. , Tiffany
plans to major in marketing and advertising at McPherson College
.
