2007 Season

The Lady Bulldogs’ four-year run of 18+ wins came to an end in 2007 as McPherson battled valiantly, but had trouble finishing games and matches, and ended the season with a 6-20 overall record.

The highlight of the season came in front of a large Sport Center crowd during the second round of conference play when the Bulldogs handed intra-county rival and KCAC leading Bethany its first loss in conference play, a straight set, three-game defeat which knocked the Swedes off the top of the conference heap.

Among weekly honors received this fall was Nikki MacKay being named the KCAC and NAIA Region IV “Libero of the Week” following the win over Bethany. 

Post-season honors were received by sophomore Kiley Loesch who was named to the All-KCAC first team and the NAIA Region IV honorable mention squad.  Senior Nikki MacKay received second team All-KCAC honors for the third straight year.

The Lady Bulldogs will graduate five seniors this year including Jessica Miller, Nikki MacKay, Amy Hallowell, Jordan Shay, and Ashley Wegener.
