Admissions & Financial Aid Counselor

McPherson College seeks an outgoing, organized, energetic, self-motivated person who understands the benefits of a small-college education. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and computer skills. The Admissions Counselor is primarily responsible to promote McPherson College by maintaining extensive contact with prospective students and their families.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Working with degree completion program students (R-3)
  • Initiating and maintaining contact with prospective high school sophomores and juniors

This will require:

• A flexible work schedule
• Travel
• Telecounseling
• Meeting with students and families when they visit the McPherson College Campus
• Collaborating with other members of the college community to enhance the student experience

A Bachelor's degree is required.
