Sprinturf playing surface for football and soccer
(Able to handle 6” to 8” of rain per hour)

• Herringbone, under field drainage to lateral, sideline drains. Perimeter drainage inside south curve of track.
• Eight inches, 6 million pounds (3,000 tons) of aggregate above drainage
  (6” of ¾” aggregate topped with 2” of ¼” aggregate)
• Sprinturf synthetic artificial turf playing surface
• 120,000 pounds (60 tons) of all-rubber infill (approx. 45,000 ground tires)
• An additional 20,000 pounds to be after approximately two months of play.

 

ATG track, high jump area, and pole vault, long and triple jump runways

• Dual (north & south) pit areas for pole vault, long and triple jumps located beyond east straight-away
• Two-inch asphalt overlay on track
• 1/2” rubber base applied to asphalt overlay and jump areas
• Polyurethane spray top coat

 

Under stadium renovations

• Visitors dressing rooms (68 lockers & 40 lockers)
• Enlarged men’s and women’s public rest rooms
• Concession stand
