Zack

Zack Gaddis – junior, Oklahoma City, OK

Zack Gaddis has trod the boards in more ways than one at McPherson College. He came to McPherson College as a redshirt freshman in basketball, and has been proficient on the theatre stage as well. He's appeared in "Grease", "Blood Brothers" and a Broadway Musical Review – often getting to show off his amazing singing voice.

That voice was put to a higher cause when Zack teamed up with his friend Jared Stevenson, junior, Broken Arrow, Okla., to form G1 Entertainment. They were able to secure the copyright on their music through a grant from the Horizon Fund, which provides up to $500 for students to pursue a sustainable idea to do good. The non-profit Christian music label is in the beginning stages, but they are determined to always keep their focus on God first in all they do – which is where "G1" originated.

They have their first sample album already available at www.g1stent.com, and Zack is close to signing with I AM Records out of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Zack credits McPherson College with making their artistry possible. “I think if I wasn’t here at McPherson College, I’m not sure that I’d be making music now.”
