Entrance Requirements
The McPherson College R3 Program is designed for the adult learner desiring to complete his or her bachelor's of science degree in business management. Students need an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree, or 64 transferable semester hours to be admitted to the program. Classes are discussion oriented, and students are encouraged to have at least three to five years of work experience or significant volunteer experience prior to entering the program.
General Ed Requirements
An Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree, or 64 college semester hours is required to enter the program. If you do not meet these requirements, we can assist you in completing the required hours prior to entering the degree completion program.
Start Dates
Classes start approximately every five weeks, not just at the beginning of a semester term. Students may enroll for the next available class after the application process is completed. Classes meet one evening per week from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Classes are offered on Tuesday evening at McPherson College and on Thursday evening at the Hutchinson Community College campus.
Costs
The cost for the program is $315 per credit hour, plus a $45 per hour book fee. Total = $360 per credit hour.
Financial Aid
Students enrolled at least half-time in the R3 Degree Completion Program are eligible to apply for state and federal grants or loans. Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to determine eligibility. Most students qualify for the Federal Stafford Loan Program.
In addition to grants and loans, McPherson College offers personal payment plans by term. Many employers offer tuition assistance to employees.
