Tonya Bower:
“The R3 degree completion program made it possible for me to get my degree while balancing a job, a new baby, and my husband’s busy work and school schedule. Five week classes allowed me to achieve my goal much sooner than I ever expected! Everyone involved with the R3 program went the extra mile in order to help me succeed.”
Jennifer Smith:
“I really enjoyed my time at McPherson in the R3 Program. The teachers are fantastic! I had the best education possible and it worked in my busy schedule! I would recommend the R3 Program from McPherson College to anyone looking to go back to school while maintaining a balance between life and school.
Don Gamble:
“As an Army Retiree, I used to say, ‘Be All You Can Be, ’and now as a civilian, I say ‘Aim High In Education,’ thanks to McPherson College’s R3 program!”
Chris Bruton:
“My opportunities for growth have included a job promotion at work with increased salary. Also, my frame of mind is different with the knowledge that I have taken from the program.”
Erica Hill:
"I had just recently had a baby and this program fit my busy schedule perfectly! Managing my school life with my roles as a parent and employee was actually much easier than I expected. Attending class one night a week makes it possible for anyone to complete their education. The professors and all the staff I had contact with were so helpful. Any questions were answered with the utmost care and efficiency, and they were quite helpful in acquiring financial aid. The people are definitely one of my favorite things about the R3 program."
Janell Mendenhall:
"The McPherson Faculty challenges each student to grow and better themselves through the R3 Degree Program. I am more confident in myself since I started the R3 Degree Program in March of 2005. I have taken more of a role in the organization that I work for as well as taking more responsibility to meet the needs for the community I live in. I feel that the class interaction with other adult classmates that have been in the workforce, has enhanced the learning experience."
Adrianna White:
"The experience that I have had at McPherson College over the last couple of years has truly been a blessing. I have acquired endless amounts of knowledge that I have used and will continue to apply to my career. The professors have been truly inspiring in their dedication, as have many of the other students in the R3 program. I have made many new friends as well as countless new business acquaintances. I have been able to continue to work full time advancing my career, attend classes in the evening, and still have time dedicated to my husband and two children. As graduation approaches, it is rewarding to know that the knowledge and personal satisfaction will live on throughout my lifetime and shine through in my children."
Dale Ray Thiesen:
"As I worked my way up through the ranks at Raytheon Aircraft, I began to encounter more positions I was not allowed to apply for due to my lack of a degree. In 2005 I was given a promotion with the caveat that I was expected to complete my degree. I looked at other degree-completion programs, but the McPherson College R3 Degree Completion Program met all my needs. My professors balance the workload and class activities to provide an environment conducive to learning material that is mainly relevant and useful in the business environment, including in my current job. The convenience of class locations both in McPherson and Hutchinson has made it fairly easy to schedule this class time."
John Helmer:
"I had spent quite a bit of time looking for a degree completion program and found most of them to be over priced, inflexible, and out of the area. When I saw the ad in my local paper about the R3 program, I contacted the school and got nothing but "Good" answers. From the beginning, the R3 program has lived-up to my expectations. The instructors have been excellent and I have been able to juggle school, family life, and work with little effort. I am proud to be a part of this program and would highly recommend it to any adult who is searching for a viable way to finish their degree."
