Your faculty advisor will assist you with overall curriculum planning, specific course selections, monitoring academic progress, etc., and provide you with information on curricular and co-curricular opportunities related to your college goals.
Located on the main floor of Miller Library, the Royer Center for Academic Development assists students, individually and in small groups, in improving their academic skills and provides academic accommodation services for students with learning disabilities.
The College Bookstore is located in the lower level of the Hoffman Student Union. Bookstore hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Career and Internships Office provides planning for career direction, internships, job search, resume writing, interviewing and other relevant aspects of life planning. The office is located on the main floor of Miller Library.
Assistance with hardware and software problems with student-owned computers is available through the campus Computer Services Department.
Free and confidential personal counseling services are also available for students.
The Dining Hall and Mildred Siek Dining Room are located on the main floor of the Hoffman Student Union. The meal plan consists of 19 meals per week; all residential students are required to participate in the meal plan.

All campus events that require the use of campus facilities (academic, social, athletic, or organizational meetings) sponsored by students, faculty and staff must be scheduled through the Campus Event Coordinator, ext. 2438. The Office of Financial Aid will help students and their families gather information and process the necessary documents to apply for financial aid. Financial Aid is housed on the first floor of Mohler Hall.
McPherson College attempts to assure adequate medical care to students in two ways: required health and accident insurance and referral to local physicians for more serious medical problems. Free and confidential personal counseling services are also available for students.
Miller Library provides library and media services to the students, faculty, and staff of McPherson College in support of their classroom activities, independent research and personal interests. The library's website also offer links to many online resources.
The McPherson College Orientation Experience is designed to get our students involved in a variety of small group activities. We want our students to feel empowered from the moment they step on campus.
All residence halls are within easy walking distance to campus buildings including the student union and cafeteria, classrooms, the library, computer labs, science labs, and athletic and recreational facilities. A residence director lives on the first floor of each hall and supervises resident assistants who also live in the hall and serve as student leaders.
The Director of Campus Ministry directs and coordinates religious life programming. Religious life programs, activities and worship experiences are open to all students.
The McPherson College community has access to the sports facilities, including an exercise room, basketball courts, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor tracks, and a racquetball/handball court. To reserve these facilities contact the Campus Event Coordinator at ext. 2438.
The Hoffman Student Union serves as a center of activity for the College community. Areas in the Union can be reserved by contacting the Campus Event Coordinator. In addition to the dining hall and food service office, the bookstore, mailroom, campus ministries, personal counselor, service programs, Student Activities Board and Student Government are located in the Hoffman Student Union.
