The Octette Bridge Club

Eight sisters have been playing bridge every other Friday evening for three years and are posing for a local newspaper photographer with the hopes of a feature article about their club. After the portrait is taken, these New England, Irish, Roman Catholic women settle into an evening of homemade pies, gossip, banter, and bridge. Eight theatre alumni create this sentimental Donavan-sister portrait.
