The King and I

Senior James Keith of Mesa, Ariz., will portray the King. The part of Anna will be played by sophomore Amanda Snell, McPherson. Additional cast members include Lois Davidson, Mt. Ida; Nick Griggs, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Dan Hudachek, Stillwater, Minn.; Akeisha Kaufman, Moundridge; and Amanda Smith, Hutchinson.

The cast also includes Brandt Busse, Althea Harding, and Becky Snell of McPherson; Lara Lichty, Colleen Porter, Nathan Porter, and Rebecca Stover, Quinter; and Mark Tobias and Matt Tobias; Conrad, Iowa. Dancers are Jaymie Bickford, Wiley, Colo.; Corah Coleman, Chase; Saraphin Kasparie, Olton, Texas; and Jen Schuyler, Tulsa, Okla.

Dr. Nancy Pennell, assistant professor of theatre, directs the production. Dr. Rick Tyler, professor of theatre, is technical director with Dr. Steven Gustafson, professor of music, serving as musical director. Additional assistance is provided by McPherson College alumni Jenny Williams as rehearsal accompanist and Lynn Carlson Just as choreographer.
