Internship Profile: Theatre

Lois Davidson, a member of the Alpha Psi Omega drama fraternity, assisted the McPherson College Theatre Department with overall program activities. In addition to appearing in more than ten productions, she managed the box office and assisted with public usage of the performance space facilities.

The “hands-on” approach of the program introduced Lois to all aspects of theatre – acting, directing, costuming, set construction, and lighting. In addition, she was involved with the dinner theatre program, which introduced her to menu planning, food preparation, and customer service.

A highlight of Lois’ theatrical experience included performing with Ernest Figueroa, a theatre professional who has been involved with national organizations including the Pasadena Playhouse.
