Natural Science Scholarship
Awards
McPherson College offers one full-tuition scholarship for students majoring in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Stewardship.
Two $6,000 and multiple $1,000-$4,000 scholarships will be awarded to runners-up. These awards are renewable annually and will be in addition to your Merit Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship if you choose to compete.

Requirements
- Qualifying students must have at least a 28 ACT or 1310 SAT.
- Applicants must complete the McPherson College online application and send in their test scores and transcript.
- Please respond to the following prompt in an essay of 500-1000 words: What do you anticipate will be the scientific research that will have the greatest impact on human society in the 21st century?
- Scores, transcript and essay can be sent to dosters@mcpherson.edu
- Application deadline for the Full-Tuition Scholarship is February 1, 2020.
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to also attend the February 15 Presidential Visit Day. Attendees will interview with the department and tour the facilities.
