McPherson College (KS) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology beginning January 2021. A Ph.D. in Biology or related field, completed by January 2021, is required.
The position includes teaching responsibilities for molecular biology/genetics, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or other courses in the field that may play to the successful candidate’s strengths.
The Department of Natural Science’s faculty are committed to preparing our students for graduate programs in the natural sciences and the fields of environmental and human health; to providing them an education rich in practical experiences such as laboratory-based courses, student internships, and an undergraduate student research program; and to working closely with them as their academic advisor. The successful candidate will articulate how they will contribute to these goals.
