This is a part-time, 10-month, exempt position, which reports to the Director of Track and Field. This position is eligible for college benefits which include a graduate school remission benefit and housing.
The Assistant Track Coach will assist the director in managing all aspects of the program in an environment of teaching and learning. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the director with recruitment and retention of student-athletes; scouting; scheduling; team travel; community service; academic monitoring with integrity; enforcement of team policies and procedures; off-season conditioning; leading training sessions and knowledge of and adherence to college, conference and NAIA rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and intercollegiate playing experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Coaching experience at a higher education institution preferred.
The ability to travel, as well as having a valid driver’s license, is a requirement of this position.
