McPherson College – a six-time recipient of the “Great Colleges to Work For” recognition – seeks a knowledgeable and collaborative individual for the Director of Assessment and Compliance. This position supports the strategic vision of the college by working with the campus to gather and interpret meaningful data and assuring institutional compliance.
This is a full-time exempt position that is eligible for all college benefits including 100% tuition remission beginning the third year of employment. This position reports to the Provost/Executive Vice President in an exciting and dynamic new role for the college.
Working as part of the Academic Affairs team, the Director of Assessment and Compliance collects and manages institutional data to support assessment, accreditation, and academic compliance for standard and mandated reporting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of postsecondary accreditation standards and practices, the ability to think critically and engage others in assessment and compliance activities. Additionally, the position is expected to model professionalism, demonstrate experience working with a collaborative team, and have exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree in business, higher education administration, or data analysis is preferred as well as experience at a small liberal arts college in academic records, research, or assessment required. Proficiency with a wide variety of research tools, including SQL and relational databases, as well as teaching experience is preferred.
