McPherson College is seeking a Head Women’s Bowling Coach with the proven ability to manage a successful program.  This individual will be responsible for daily management, instruction and administration of all phases of the Bowling program in accordance with all NAIA, KCAC and College regulations. Specific areas of responsibility include: instructing on practice, game preparation and strategy; student worker and volunteer supervision; recruitment of prospective student-athletes; retention of student-athletes, monitoring the academic progress of the Bowling student athletes; preparation and oversight of budget; community outreach; and  program specific and departmental fundraising.

The successful candidate must possess and will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, strong work ethic and self-motivation, the ability and willingness to be a positive role model, department member and representative of the college.

Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters’ preferred; three years of collegiate coaching experience required. This is a full time, exempt position, eligible for the college’s full benefit package, and reporting to the college’s Athletic Director.  This is a 12-month position.
