McPherson College is seeking an energetic multi-tasker to join its Student Affairs team. The Student Affairs Support Staff Coordinator is an integral member of the Student Affairs team. This individual provides project support for all functions of the Student Affairs office.
The Student Affairs Support Staff Coordinator is a temporary, 11-month position which is not eligible for college benefits and reports to the Interim Dean of Students.
The ideal candidate is capable of engaging diverse student populations in a fast-paced environment and working across the campus community to foster and support the student population.
The Student Affairs Support Staff Coordinator is responsible for all level of support for the Student Affairs Office, assists with the coordination of building community within the student population, is part of the on call rotation of the Student Affairs staff and will have other duties as assigned by the Interim Dean of Students.
The ideal candidate would possess at least one year of experience working in an office or administrative position. Experience in a student life or student affairs office is a plus and have earned a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential and a proficiency in using Microsoft Office products is expected. Advanced-level ability with Excel is desirable as well as institutional technology such as Formstack Survey Monkey, StarRez and Cloud Card Photos.
