Adjunct Instructor Intercultural Education

McPherson College’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks qualified instructors to teach Intercultural Education courses for students pursuing teacher licensure. This is an adjunct instructional appointment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare syllabus and teach assigned course based on course outline.
  • Complete course paperwork such as attendance reports and grade postings.
  • Read and return student work in a timely fashion, providing helpful feedback for improvement.
  • Use active-learning pedagogy, engaging students through in-class activities as well as lecture.
  • Use accepted curriculum and instruction pedagogies

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education or a related field

Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at the post-secondary level

Salary: Commensurate with academic credentials
