Archer-Rierson joins McPherson College

McPherson College is pleased to announce the addition of Abbey Archer-Rierson as the new director of development. She assumed her duties on April 14.

Archer-Rierson is a life-long McPherson resident, graduating from McPherson High School in 2002 and The University of Kansas in 2006. Her work experience includes being a pharmaceutical sales representative with Ferndale Laboratories and Sanofi-Aventis.

In her new position, Archer-Rierson will be responsible for general fundraising efforts, college campaign efforts as well as planned giving.

Says Michael Schneider, vice president of admissions and advancement, “Abbey has shown a great amount of initiative from her experiences in college and the short time since her graduation. We are excited about the energy she brings to this position.”
