This is the fifth biennial art exhibition, which started in 2004, at the McPherson Opera House, 223 S. Main St., McPherson, Kan. About 60 works are on display through Feb. 23 in a variety of media, including metal, watercolor, pencil, and computer-created graphic design.

On the campus of one of the most diverse colleges in the Midwest, McPherson College, in conjunction with the community-wide MAC Diversity Team, will celebrate the legacy of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
On Jan. 20, the celebration - previously held at McPherson High School - will include a special documentary presentation and a jazz music performance.

Cunningham received one of just 12 Juror’s Merit awards for his photograph - “Shed of Ruins.” He’s only the second McPherson College student to do so, the first being Casey Maxon ’13 in last year’s exhibition.
