KSU Graduate Courses in Health Science

Overview

Students at McPherson College will now have the opportunity to begin working toward a master’s degree in health science.

Kansas State University

McPherson College and the Kansas State University Graduate School have established a collaborative agreement for students in the Health Sciences program. The agreement allows eligible McPherson College undergraduates to take graduate-level courses online at K-State that can count toward both their bachelor’s degree at McPherson College and a master’s degree at K-State in either Kinesiology or Public Health.

Program Details

  • Eligible students will have the opportunity to take up to nine graduate credit courses from the Kansas State University Graduate School in the Master of Science in Kinesiology or Master of Public Health programs.
  • The courses taken at Kansas State University will count toward graduation requirements in the participating student’s program of study at McPherson College while helping the student get a head start on her or his graduate degree.
  • Upon graduation, students may formally apply for admission into the Kansas State University Master of Science in Kinesiology or Master of Public Health program.
  • Those who earn a Master of Public Health degree provide invaluable service to the healthcare profession as health educators, community health leaders, and epidemiologists.
  • A Master of Science in Kinesiology can lead to exciting careers in exercise physiology, wellness and strength conditioning, and sports management.
  • With growing demand for healthcare professionals with graduate credentials, students who take advantage of this agreement will be well positioned to enter the career field with many opportunities.
