“I really appreciate how much the Health Science professors have helped with my college experience and plans with my future. Being a student athlete, the professors are very communicative and flexible but also do a good job encouraging me to always do my best. They make learning fun and interactive while pushing my knowledge.
“My job shadowing experience observing the radiology department at the McPherson Hospital has helped me a lot with my future and understanding what opportunities I have in health care. My plans after graduation are to continue my studies in Radiology or Sonography.
“I joined the Student Debt Project my senior year and have had a wonderful experience with a great mentor, Katharine O’Connor, who is also one of the Health Science professors. My group and I meet every month and discuss new financial topics like financial aid, credit cards, and loans. Being a part of the debt project has helped me learn more about my finances and has saved me some money with the match on school payments.
“The best thing about MC is the community and how everyone is involved. There is always something to do on campus whether it be sporting events, bingo nights, or just meeting up with friends. Being part of a smaller campus has been a great experience and has led me to learn so many new people and make new memories.”
