The individual in this role acts as a primary administrator of the Student Affairs program and staff related to student mental health and wellness. The Director will plan, organize, and direct programs, operations, and activities addressing the emotional well-being needs of students.  Collaborate with other departments to deliver prevention programming, health education, and health and safety risk management; coordinate and direct communications, services, resources, and information to meet student health needs.

This is a 12-month, exempt, full-time position with some evening and/or weekend hours.  This position serves as an after hour’s consultant for student crises.   Additionally, this position is eligible for full college benefits including a generous retirement benefit and a full college tuition benefit after only two years of employment.   This position will supervise student wellness interns, intramurals staff and fitness assistant.

The ideal candidate will exercise a high level of discretion and judgment in the day-to-day operation, embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Experience in case management and wellness educational programming is required.  Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and institutional technology such as Jenzabar, Adirondack, Formstack and Canva is preferred.

Compensation:

Salary based on qualifications.
